e:fs TechHub GmbH is a joint venture of Akkodis (51%) and CARIAD (49%) and has been operating since 2009 as a leading strategic development partner in the premium automotive industry.

Our mission: High-quality mobility technologies. From concept to series production, from chassis technologies to autonomous software, from chassis to system integration — we develop high-end technologies in four service lines:
Systems & Integration (development of vehicle systems up to series readiness),
Software (development of software for mobility services),
Concepts & Processes (development and implementation of new PMTs), and
Products & Innovation (development of products for customers).

Our journey
2009
EFS is founded as a joint venture between Audi Electronics Venture and Gigatronik under the name Elektronische Fahrwerksysteme GmbH. Fun fact: at that time, Elektronische Fahrwerksysteme GmbH had only one employee.
2014
From zero to 250 employees in five years. We celebrate our anniversary and the transition of our business model from individual assignments in the automotive sector to complete work packages.
2018
We continue to grow and evolve. During this time, we successfully operate as a strategic development partner for functions related to assisted and highly automated driving.
2020
We grow into a team of over 600 employees at three locations — Gaimersheim, Wolfsburg, and Erlangen. New business areas are added, and research and development become increasingly important.
2021
From big data, AI, and digital twins to customer centricity and open innovation — the world is changing, and we are changing with it. And we take the next big step in our transformation.
2022
A new name, a new appearance — EFS becomes e:fs TechHub. We transform from an automotive engineering service provider into a partner for the development of superior high-tech solutions — a dynamic work spectrum for exciting technologies far beyond the field of driving.
2025
Rebranding to TechHub by efs to underline our work and mindset as a technology-driven company with a strong heritage and to operate even more actively in the national and international third-party market.
