A key function of the Code of Conduct is to appropriately inform all individuals within the company about applicable laws and company policies, and to raise awareness of legal risks in everyday professional life. The Code of Conduct summarizes the laws and other rules that are particularly relevant to e:fs TechHub GmbH and provides guidance. As a binding guideline for lawful and ethically responsible conduct within our company, the Code of Conduct also defines the standard for responsible behavior towards business partners and the public, as well as in interactions with each other within the company. All individuals within the company are obligated to comply with the principles outlined therein.

Our Whistleblowing System
At e:fs, compliance with legal regulations and internal rules, as well as the principles in our Codes of Conduct, is of the highest priority. The success of our company depends on integrity and compliance. To ensure these standards are maintained, it is of great importance to recognize and prevent potential misconduct by employees or suppliers. For this reason, we have established an internal, impartial, and confidential whistleblowing system.
A key pillar of our whistleblowing system is the principle of procedural fairness. It also guarantees the greatest possible protection for whistleblowers, individuals affected by the report, and employees involved in investigating the reported misconduct.
We assure that we will not take any steps to identify anonymous whistleblowers who do not abuse our whistleblowing system. Retaliation against whistleblowers and all individuals who contribute to investigations at e:fs will not be tolerated. The presumption of innocence applies to all involved parties until a violation is proven. Investigations will be treated with strict confidentiality. The information will be processed in a fair, swift, and protected manner.
Report Processing
The investigating department thoroughly reviews each report for potential misconduct and systematically follows up on it. First, you will receive an acknowledgment of receipt. The investigating department then reviews your report, including collecting facts, particularly from the whistleblower. Only if this initial assessment reveals suspicion of a potential violation will an investigation be initiated. Subsequently, the results of the investigation will be evaluated and appropriate measures will be recommended. You will receive information about the status as quickly as possible.
Potential violations of the Code of Conduct for Business Partners by suppliers, including serious risks and violations of human rights and the environment by direct and indirect suppliers, can also be reported to the investigating department – as can reports that require immediate action. The investigating department will inform the responsible departments, which will process the matter accordingly. This includes, in particular, taking the necessary measures to minimize or end violations and/or risks.
